The children in Junior Kindergarten have been busy learning about insects and other creepy crawlers over the past few weeks. Through hands-on activities, the children explored the parts of an insect, insect life cycles, insect habitats, and so much more.

The students’ all-time favorite activity was singing and dancing to the song, “Head, Thorax, Abdomen.” After learning the song, the children became insect experts and could identify whether or not the creepy crawlers we learned about were insects.

Take a peek at our video to see what else we learned through our exciting exploration of insects, arachnids, and arthropods!
