Harrisburg Academy is a regional resource in Southcentral Pennsylvania that has a positive impact on the educational quality and economic vitality of the greater Harrisburg area.  We are proud to be a private school that operates with a public purpose — to connect to and serve families in our community.

The Academy’s 24-acre campus in Wormleysburg, with easy access to Harrisburg and both shores, combined with ample free parking and a handicapped accessible ramp, can be just the space needed for a local arts or community event. The facilities may be used for events that include group meetings, performing arts, sports practices, and instructional sport camps.  For example, past community partners include Susquehanna Service Dogs, which held “graduation” ceremonies for service dogs, and Pennsylvania Regional Ballet, which hosted its parents’ meeting and spaghetti dinner.

Facilities available for rental include:

  • Louis Lehrman Gymnasium -70’ x 120’
  • McCormick Auditorium – seats 265
  • John Butler Davis Gallery – seats 155
  • Meeting Room – seats 40
  • Tennis Courts
  • Athletic Fields
  • Classrooms

Harrisburg Academy may agree to permit external agencies and community groups to rent the Academy’s facilities with certain conditions, including the need to avoid disruption to the school’s instructional or daily activities.  Harrisburg Academy facilities may be rented to for-profit businesses for training or other selected purposes.
